Thomas Ligotti has gathered a dedicated cult following and garnered critical acclaim and awards for his fiction, which includes the collections Teatro Grotesco (Random House, 2008), Noctuary (Carroll and Graf, 1994) and Songs of a Dead Dreamer (Robinson Publishing, 1989). He has also published a volume of theoretical writings entitled The Conspiracy Against the Human Race: A Contrivance of Horror (Hippocampus Press, 2011).
