Peter Szendy is a French philosopher and musicologist whose research interests include the history of listening and its relationship to power, reading and the body. He is the author of Kant in extraterrestrials. Philosofictions cosmopolitan (Minuit, 2011) and L'apocalypse-cinéma. 2012 et autres fins du monde (Capricci Editions, 2012). He lectures at the University of Paris West Philosophy Department.
