Rick Dolphijn is Assistant Professor in Humanities, Utrecht University, the Netherlands. He is the author of Foodscapes: Towards a Deleuzian Ethics of Consumption (Delft/Chicago: Eburon/University of Chicago Press, 2004), New Materialism (with Iris van der Tuin) and Manifesto for the Mouth: a Philosophy of Raw and Untamed Matter.
