Martin Schönfeld is a philosopher of nature at the University of South Florida in Tampa, USA. He has written on enlightenment, environment, and China. He keeps a blog on accelerating climate change and edits a climate philosophy newsletter. He is editing topic issues on the heuristic potential of climate change for Journal of Global Ethics and Essays in Philosophy. He is the author of The Philosophy of the Young Kant (Oxford University Press, 2000) and ‘Green Kant’, in Pojman, ed., Environmental Ethics (2008), and is now writing a book on Kantian klimasophia.
